Soft Serve Sickness Alert - Costco, Abbotsford British Columbia

1 year ago reported by user-xpqz9871 business

Costco Wholesale, Sumas Way, Abbotsford, BC, Canada

1127 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, V2S 8H2 British Columbia, Canada

I had an ice cream cone after shopping which tasted like cool whip and chocolate pudding. It barely seemed cold although it wasn’t melting and we started driving home. I ended up throwing the last third out the window. About 35 minutes later my husband had to pull over so I could vomit at the side of the road. It was all supposed ice cream. 10 minutes later at home I violently vomitted again. We’ve now been home aprox 3hrs and have thrown up 5 more times. I had eaten nothing else aside from a Dixie cup taster of potato chips prior to the ice cream. Update, I phoned the admin at the store and was told that the machine cleaning is diligent and no one had ever reported symptoms like mine. After that I vomitted 3 more times and just now 7-8hrs later I’ve started to feel slightly better. | Symptoms: Vomiting

Just incase youre not aware "The time it takes food poisoning symptoms to start can vary. Illness often starts in about 1 to 3 days. But symptoms can start any time from 30 minutes to 3 weeks after eating contaminated food. The length of time depends on the type of bacteria or virus causing the illness." I dont think it eas your ice cream cone
