Interesting, do you know which specific product made you ill? Daily Harvest has been in hot water recently because their leek and lentil crumbles were making people EXTREMELY sick and sending them to the hospital with liver damage. That specific product was recalled but people have reported that other Daily Harvest products have been causing illness as well. I’m assuming your symptoms were relatively mild but I recommend getting in touch with some groups discussing and investigating the manner.

The FDA has initiated an investigation, including an inspection and sample... See More collection in an effort to determine the cause of illnesses. As of June 28, the FDA has received 133 Consumer Adverse Event Reports and Consumer Complaints related to this product. 42 people have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported. Last illness onset: June 21, 2022. The investigation is ongoing.
On June 17, 2022, in response to consumer complaints submitted to the company, Daily Harvest voluntarily initiated a recall of their French Lentil & Leek Crumbles. From April 28 to June 17, 2022, approximately 28,000 units of the recalled product were distributed to consumers in the continental United States through online sales and direct delivery, as well as through retail sales at the Daily Harvest store in Chicago, IL, and a “pop-up” store in Los Angeles, CA.

I became sick after eating the daily harvest lentil and leek crumbles. I had stomach pain, intense body aches, vomiting, nausea, chills, dark urine. Blood tests a week and a half later showed elevated liver enzymes and signs of liver disease. I have no pre-existing conditions or any behaviors that would contribute to any liver issues. Comparison blood tests from past years show an extreme change.

If you kept your receipt I would contact someone there or write a Google review or contact them through the Pizza Hut website and lodge your complaint. Ask for a refund! This is a horrible experience. Maybe other customers were affected.

To date, 7 people from 5 separate households reported becoming sick after eating at a potluck at this church on November... No specific source of the food infection has been ascertained as of yet.
Environmental Health investigators associated with the Donated Food Distributing Organizations (DFDO) visited the church on November 21, 2023. The team scrutinized the church's practice concerning storage, reheating, and serving of the food. Factors like improper temperature control were documented during the investigation as potential contributors to the outbreak.
Lab tests were conducted on two of the seven affected individuals, the results of which returned positive for Salmonella. The symptoms of the remaining five, who were not tested, were suggestive of a Salmonella infection. Measures and investigations are ongoing as the situation gets monitored closely by public health officials.
