I tried Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time on a Monday night around 9pm after work, and it struck me so hard with food poisoning and a severe stomach flu. I’ve been dealing with the symptoms of the illness even 5 days later with constant nausea, vomiting 3x a day, watery stool and diarrhea, went to immediate care and even to the ER, and still not close to feeling any better even days later. The doctors prescribed me Zofran but my body would even reject that and come back up immediately! It wasn’t until my second IV (via a SECOND doctor’s visit) would my body finally accept Zofran and regular water into my system which helped rejuvenate my hydration I was lacking due to the stomach flu. I don’t know if I just got an unlucky batch of food that night, or if they used old oil or didn’t thoroughly cook the chicken, but it’s safe to say I’ll never be eating there again for another whole while!! Went in paying $11 for a slider with fries and now left laying hundreds of dollars in hospital bills dealing with the consequences…. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
