Sausage Sparks Severe Sickness - Denny's, Castaic California

Son visited with his girlfriend last night. Both ordered blueberry pancakes with scrambled eggs. His girlfriend got fruit and he got sausage. Within an hour of leaving, he was doubled over with excruciating pain and had it coming out both ends! After a trip to ER at 3 am and then being too busy to see him, we left. Only for vomiting to continue and us to return with him collapsing outside hospital from severe dehydration. The hospital ran tests & such (blood, urine, ekg, IV, morphine drip, nauseous meds, pumped him with fluids, and had to administer low flow oxygen)...he finally was good to go with diagnosis of FOOD POISONING!!! Obviously was sausage and won’t be returning any time remotely soon, if ever. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Dehydration
