Travelling in El Nido and within a day had terrible diarrhea almost 20 times in the space of a few hours collapsed and was rushed to hospital where I was put on a drip for 12 hours and kept overnight under observation. Been told I have caught Amebiasis and now have to undergo further treatment when I go back home. Haven’t held food down for 5 days and have had over 50 episodes of diarrhea and vomiting. Went on tours with Ape tours as well and it was straight after the first tour with them that I got sick the very next morning. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
