Bacterial GI infection as a result of uncooked poultry or seafood. Onset of symptoms began on day 3 after arrival. Became so violently ill that I was transported by ambulance to the closest hospital where I remained for 2 1/2 days and was only discharged because my flight was leaving that day. Still being treated in the US - this is day 8 of symptoms. While I am improving, it is not over yet. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting, Headache, Chills
