Chocolates Infested w/ Maggots - Family Dollar, Louisville Kentucky

2 years ago reported by user-pzxg7757 business

Family Dollar, Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, USA

4335 Bardstown Road, Louisville, 40218 Kentucky, United States

09/04/2023 Brought a box of goober chocolates from Family Dollar. Opened the box (while driving) poured into hand and the box was full of maggots. Health department visited store 09/06/2023 & they still had the box of candy with the maggots.
Opened on way home and it was full of maggots. Took back to store and was told I was the 4th person to bring them back for the same issue. My question, " why were they still on your shelves and why wasn't it reported if you were fully aware they were contaminated?"

that is totally incomprehensible for any candy to be like that, please share so everyone will know and be extremely cautious about what they buy and eat, thank for sharing this info.
