6 years ago •reported by user-vwpjg733
Kirkuk, Kirkuk Governorate, Iraq
I was a little north of Kirkuk, Iraq. This man hosted us and served all kinds of food including chicken and goat. I ate the goat with a type of yogurt sauce and within 4 hours I had serious bubble gut. Within another two hours I was barfing and defecating with no control. For the next day and a half I was dizzy, weak, throwing up and dehydrated. After about 18 hours our medic gave me two 1000 cc bags of saline solution and I began to recover. Don't eat undercooked goat and avoid all dairy products in Iraq if you suspect poor refrigeration or hygiene. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Other, Weakness, Dizziness
