Rodent Infestation Shuts Restaurant - Flamingo Bar & Grill, Leicester England

Dead mice, mouse droppings and ‘dribbles’ of urine in serving dishes led food safety officials to immediately close a city restaurant’s kitchen and storeroom.According to a report written after the visit, the notice was served because a Leicester City Council inspector felt that the evidence of “mouse activity in the kitchen, storeroom and bar, together with the poor standard of cleaning, created an imminent risk of injury to health.”
The restaurant, in Loughborough Road, cannot re-open until inspectors are happy that improvements have been made.
