Cheerios Trigger Allergy Symptoms - Food Lion, Williamsburg Virginia

3 years ago reported by user-pxjn1138 business

Food Lion, John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, VA, USA

5251 John Tyler Highway, Williamsburg, 23185 Virginia, United States

I’m on a STRICT diet due to my gluten, dairy and egg intolerances among a plethora of other allergies. The ONLY thing I’ve changed, in months, was adding in ‘Honey Nut Cheerios’ as a snack. The next day I suddenly got nauseous, chills, stomach aches, and rectal pain then diarrhea. I kept eating the Cheerios to make sure it wasn’t something else. By day 4 I had to stop. Once I’ve stopped my stomach and bowel movements are slowly going back to normal. General Mills claims it’s gluten free… but there is no “certified gluten free” certification logo on the box. So I don’t know how accurate that labeling really is. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Chills, Stomach Pain
