Fritos Allergy Nightmare - Dollar General, Earlsboro Oklahoma

I have been avoiding Frito's brand corn chips for around the last 7 - 10 years due to the horriffic effects they have on me. We used to love them, but something changed and now anytime I eat them it feels like hell on earth.

I have long switched to far cheaper store brands with much healthier ingredient lists and better flavor that I could eat all day without any effects.

Yesterday, Aug 28 2025, I accidentally grabbed a nearly empty bag of fresh chips, thinking it was our store brand, with less than a handful of chips left, that a relative had placed where we keep all of our chips. I did not realize I had grabbed their Frito's bag until 8 hours later when I realized I was in extreme trouble.

At first comes stomach pains then gastro intestinal distress, sweating, a feeling of fever when there is none, nausia, and then hours of vomiting and diarhea.

I have spent the last 11 hours in horriffic pain. Kidney stones do not hurt this bad! Frito's corn chips cause me to become so weak that I fall to the floor as I am too weak to sit or even try to stand when the effects hit full force. Last night I was outside when the effects hit and all I could do was fall to the ground as I could not get back to the house and inside. I spent hours out there on the wet ground just going through hell. I literally want to rip my guts out in hopes of some relief. All anyone can do for me is bring me a cold wet rag and just let time, vomiting and diarhea do its thing. Once I finally got the Frito's corn chips out of my system, I got up off the ground, came in and showered.

I am currently unable to speak due to all the vomiting, and I am in a lot of pain due to the muscle stress, and it will take up to a week to get back to my normal healthy self.

Yesterday was an unfortunate accident, and I have looked through the ingredients, and while they are horrible, I have had them all in other unhealthy food products without any of these effects.

Make no mistake, this is not due to some bad batch of Frito's corn chips, This has happened for the last 7 - 10 years and ever since it started happening and I quicky realized it was Frito's doing this to me, I have avoided them like plague. Fortunately there are far better options with much healthier ingredients that don't even cost half of what Frito's does, but I still do not understand what changed to make Frito's do this to me. I am medically and physically healthy, but just a few Frito's Corn chips, and around 8 hours later when the horror hits, I could be vivisected without anesthesia and you could give me the scalpel to do it. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Sweating, Gas
