We had a family holiday booked at Grand Bavaro resort from Feb 18-25. On our 5th day my daughter and I were extremely sick. Our last 3 days were ruined. We had cramps, fever and bloody diarrhea. After returning to Canada we both went to the doctor and rain multiple blood, urine and stool tests. My daughter had a fever for 6 days I started slowly feeling better 4 days after I returned. My daughter not only had a terrible finish to her Punta Cana holiday but also missed a full week of school after we returned. We received the test result and we both tested positive for Salmonella Food Poisoning. This was our 5th time to Punta Cana and this was the 1st time this has ever happened to us. Beware of this hotel. Look at all the Google and Tripadvisor reviews. Wow! They have a big problem!!! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Cramps, Bloody Stool
