Fell extremely ill 24 hours after returning from this resort. The worst sick I’ve ever been in my life. Diarrhea every hour for 72 hours straight, debilitating stomach cramps. I was hospitalized and tested positive for salmonella AND ecoli. Emailed hotel and they deny it came from them, said there would’ve been other reports. Over $2000 in hospital bills and my mom had to fly in to take care of me. Just don’t go there. It was fine, just go to the beach in florida or something, coming from a flight attendant | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache

I am so sorry you had to experience this. Last year in January my daughter got ill in Dominican in Punta Cana in different resort jewel Palm Beach. Diarrhea and vomiting and admitted to hospital. The hospital pediatrician said DR has different parasites than the rest of the world.. enough said for me after visiting 4 times DR I am never going back.
