The Cosmic apples taste like dirt. Literally. Likely from South of here and grown on sewer water as seen on the news. I grew up with apple tree and NEVER have tasted anything like it. One bite gag and spit. Other fruit like the California oranges just fine. The fruit was from 1 of 3 grocery outfits on Fleur. Hy-vee, Fareway, or Cash Saver. Maybe it's Loffredo but I can't recall where the apples were purchased and I see their trucks at all these locations. I still have 1 of those 'bad' apples I think if you want to analyze it. I just made myself an orange Julius at home and I am not running to the toilet.
