My mom got a family meal of burgers from habit and she got me a Veggie burger since I am learning how to eat more vegan. I smelled it and it smelled horrendous and made me gag. I tried it anyway because I know vegan burgers are a lot different to me and it's probably fine. I ate most of it and my stomach started to hurt the same night I was so nauseous I couldn't properly go to sleep or go to bed until about 3:49 am. I woke up feeling the same; nauseous and sick. I had school the next day (today 21/10/25) and while I was walking to school even just the motion of walking made me feel so sick. I threw up in a sink and cleaned it up with paper towels. There was a bathroom about 20 something feet away from the sink but I couldn't make it. I threw up my breakfast (smoothie). I am now back at home and am resting, I first had diarrhea when I woke up in the morning. I am never eating at Habit Burger & Grill again. It was the worst food poisoning I have ever had. Even saying "Habit Veggie Burger" makes me sick. Please for the sake of anyone else who orders that burger, do a check for food safety and health. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
