I've been sick since my trip to Punta cana last year! I've never had issues with my stomach or intestines. I have had diarrhea for a year...intermittently its soft stool when i take an anti diarrhea medication. I feel like there is a rock sitting in my stomach that gives a dull constant ache. I went to be tested for parasites at kaiser when i returned and the issues continued for 3 weeks. They didnt find any parasites which i now found out they should have done multiple stool samples to test for parasites. I'm seeing a GI specialist next week. I've self medicated with marijuana because people toss up "sick" "stomach ache" diarrhea with IBS. Which is a symptom not a diagnosis. It's the only thing that saves me from the stomach aches and diarrhea feeling you get right before the diarrhea comes...but i feel that almost 24 hours a day! As these stories come out i find myself feeling better that im not alone!!! Something screwed me up at punta cana. We had gone to cancun the year prior and i had no issues. We at strictly at the hard rock and i believe that day that i fell ill (fiancee did too he was in the room in the fetal position on the bed for a few hours with diarrhea he got better) i continued to slowly get worse. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Stomach Pain
