2 weeks ago, Hostess cupcake I ate a hostess cupcake out of the plastic packaging ( it was the Halloween limited edition cupcake ) the cake was orange with chocolate frosting. The moment I put the snack into my mouth the awful taste of sour or chemicals overwhelmed my taste buds. I'm a large male weighing around 200 pounds and so typically I pop the whole entire snack in to my mouth with only about two chews and then swallow. So by the time I really tasted the awful taste I was already swallowing. I knew in that moment that I should have spit it out but It was to late. I told my girlfriend that if I got sick that it would be from the cupcake. The next day in the evening I started experiencing a burning sensation when I tried to urinate along with stomach cramps and a low grade fever. That following morning I was weak with a high fever I couldn't eat anything I had the chills accompanied by a fever of 102. It was horrible I couldn't think of anything other than the pain . When I tried to urinate it felt like kidney stones or something. My girlfriend thought it was just a UTI but I knew that it wasn't and that something was wrong. I decided that I needed to go to the hospital so we called an ambulance. Once I was there I explained my situation and they to misdiagnosed me with just a UTI and sent me home. I layed there for damn near a week in the most excruciating pain that I to date have ever encountered. I firmly believed I could have possibly died. I'm positive that I have suffered so.e long term damage from this. I don't feel the same anymore, I feel it has either damaged my kidneys or some major organ. | Symptoms: Fever, Other, Cramps, Chills, Weakness
