Hotel Buffet Illness Concerns - Hotel Riu, Cancún Quintana Roo

Everything seemed great, —until day two at this hotel. Nausea, vomitting, excruciating stomach cramps, and two days spent in bed. After reading reviews from others with food poisoning in Jan, we thought for sure they would have remedied the problem. However, we noticed not one food svc worker had food prep gloves, just bare hands everywhere which was a little concerning for such a large company.
Front desk informed us of a doctor who was available for $200 visit and was 1 hr away.
Upon our departure, met others in lobby complaining of the same issue that some members of their party were experiencing.
Clearly, they have not solved their problem at here
