Buffet Illness: Nausea, Vomiting - Hotel, Punta Cana La Altagracia

On day of arrival, Friday May 22, 2026 I drank one non-alcoholic mixed juice drink. A couple of hours later I ate dinner at the Mercado Buffet at the adjacent Hyatt Ziva, grilled chicken, cauliflower and potatoes and was nauseous and vomiting about 1hr after eating. The vomiting lasted 12-16 hours and the nausea almost 24hrs. I had no appetite or ability to eat for the rest of the trip, weakness and fatigue. I am 5 days out and still no appetite. I have lost 5lbs. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, Weakness, Fatigue, Loss of Appetite
