Repeated Illness After Meals - Jack in the Box, Springtown Texas

6 months ago reported by user-fwfz5119 business

Jack in the Box, Old Springtown Road, Springtown, Texas, USA

401 Old Springtown Road, Springtown, 76082 Texas, United States

I have eaten there 3 times, a long with my son and husband. We all had the worst case of food poisoning the first 2, gave it this last chance and are again left sick with the same symptoms. Months apart. Something isn't right | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

If it happened 3 times in the short span of time that means it's not food poisoning. It indicates cross contamination from poor hand hygiene. Whoever is preparing food is handling disgusting cash and then going straight to prepare food and not washing their hands

Hi, thank you for your comment. TIP: Repeated instances of illness after consuming food from the same source could indeed suggest a problem with food handling practices, such as poor hand hygiene. However, it's not accurate to say that this definitively rules out food poisoning. Both poor hand hygiene and food poisoning can lead to the presence of harmful pathogens in food, which can cause illness. It's also important to note that handling money and then preparing food without washing hands is a potential source of cross-contamination, but it's not the only possible source. Other sources can include contaminated utensils, surfaces, or ingredients. Iwaspoisoned Support
