My boyfriend and I shared the Green Shield juice, but I was the only one who ate the spicy tuna sandwich. Because we both became ill after drinking the juice, and I was the only one who ate the sandwich, we believe the food poisoning most likely came from the juice rather than the sandwich. In addition, a friend of mine also ate a tuna sandwich that day and did not experience any symptoms. The only item my boyfriend and I consumed in common throughout the day was the juice. We drank it around 1:00 p.m., and by approximately 4:00 p.m., we both began experiencing very intense abdominal pain. My boyfriend vomited and continued to have stomach pain and nausea throughout the night. As for me, I had diarrhea, severe abdominal pain, and a high fever all night, and I continued to feel nauseous for two days. I therefore do not know what happened, but I am concerned that proper hygiene procedures may not have been followed during the preparation of the juice. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Chills
