happens every time i have there recently | Symptoms: Nausea, Stomach Pain
Ordered fino pitta
Fresh lettuce and chicken was all around the top of the pitta, ate the top of the pitta, noticed that lower in the pitta was very stodgy/older lettuce and the chicken was very very strange tasting and feeling (almost looked asif it had been... cooked a long time before, then they had added fresh lettuce and chicken to the top, viewable side of the pitta, to make it look fresh)
My partner ordered something else, and her meal seemed fresh/fine
I ate mine (around 9pm), as I have never fallen victim to food poisoning before and assumed even though it looked, felt and tasted very strange I took the risk.
I remember joking to my partner that I might be sick from this
I woke up at 6am the next morning feeling alot of nausea, then I began heavily vomiting, over and over.
Any time i tried to drink water I vomited it straight back up
I have never felt sickness this bad in my life, it was utterly terrible, it was like my body wanted every last bit of the food competely evacuated from my body
After a day of not being able to drink any fluids, as even water was being rejected by my body
It seemed that the bacteria that my body wanted rid of moved down from my upper gastric system to the lower gastric system, and I began with severe diarrhea
I have never ever had food poisoning before in my life, but this was unmistakable and an utterly horrible experience
It happened on sunday 20/03/2022 | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Gas

Local, state, and federal (CDC, FDA) public health authorities investigated multiple potential clusters of cyclosporiasis cases during 2023, with onset on or after April 1, 2023. As of October 24, 2023, 41 jurisdictions, including 40 states and New York City, have reported a total of 2,272 laboratory-confirmed... cases of cyclosporiasis. 186 have been hospitalized and no deaths were reported. These individuals had not traveled outside of the United States during the 14 days before they got sick. No specific food items have been identified as the source of most of these illnesses.
As it currently stands, the actual count of people infected with cyclosporiasis may be higher than reported, due to some individuals potentially recovering without seeking medical attention or being tested for Cyclospora. Cyclosporiasis, caused by the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis, causes diarrhea, loss of appetite, and cramping. Cyclosporiasis cases are reported year-round in the United States, with increases in case counts seen during the spring and summer months.
In case you are experiencing Cyclospora symptoms, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

Especially at risk are individuals with compromised immune systems.
Symptoms of food poisoning from consuming contaminated oysters include diarrhea, stomach pain or cramps, nausea, vomiting, and fever. Onset times and durations can vary greatly.
On November 17, 2023, the Connecticut Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Aquaculture was made aware of the illegally harvested and potentially contaminated oysters and promptly informed the FDA. The FDA is now actively monitoring the situation and providing aid to the necessary state authorities.
Consumers are urged not to consume the affected oysters. Restaurants and retailers are being advised not to serve or sell the identified oysters and to prioritize proper disposal. Restoration and prevention efforts should include thorough cleansing and sanitation of all food processing equipment, surfaces, and environments.

My son eats the Turkey and Oreos from the lunchable and he keeps getting sick from it. I'm throwing all I have left in the trash and never again buying them. The first time he got sick I thought it was a stomach bug but all he... kept throwing up was the Turkey. He's a very picky eater, so there isn't much he will eat. He just ate a lunchable for lunch yesterday and low and behold in the middle of the night the same thing happened. | Symptoms: Vomiting

My boyfriend and I went to Dine with Orcas at SeaWorld Orlando on December 2, 2023, and we’re 99% sure that he got food poisoning from his meal. He ordered the pan seared salmon and I ordered the Roasted Beef. We both had the same sides. He... started feeling nauseous and vomiting like an hour after we were done with our meal and the symptoms got progressively worst throughout the day. The only conclusion is that he got food poisoning from the salmon, because I do not feel sick. So either the salmon was undercooked or it was left out for too long before it was served. I did notice that the food was a little bit cold by the time it was served to us. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting
