I ate a string cheese stick (Kroger low-moisture mozzarella) a few minutes ago. After the first bite I immediately noticed a VERY STRONG and bitter astringent taste— almost similar to a cleaning agent’s smell. My mouth is NUMB. I can’t feel the roof of my mouth with my tongue. I made a face when I ate it and my husband saw and asked “Oh my god does it taste weird to you?! I thought it was just me!” The other cheeses in the bag were fine as far as I know and we have one left which I am saving in case something else develops. Right now, I’m dizzy and my mouth feels numbed like by lidocaine. | Symptoms: Numbness, Dizziness
