Seafood Tacos Cause Illness - La Palapa Restaurant, Puerto Vallarta Jalisco

3 years ago reported by user-wrpcj247 business

La Palapa Restaurant, Púlpito, Zona Romántica, Emiliano Zapata, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico

105-3 Púlpito, Puerto Vallarta, 48380 Jalisco, Mexico

3 people from my group. I seem to have gotten the worst of it. All had tacos with meat or fish. Day 1 - Saturday - ate around 6 or 7pm. No symptoms. Food seemed great. Day 2 - Sunday - fever, chills by mid morning. Rough bout of diarrhea between mid afternoon into late evening. Day 3 - Monday - seemed to be getting better. Made the mistake of eating pizza and drinking a lot of water around noon. Throughout Day, diarrhea considerably worsened to the point of extreme pain. Evacuated on average 2 to 3 times an hour. Evening time this increased and was also accompanied by severe vomiting. Thats where I am currently at. Laying in bed as I type this, hoping it serves as a warning to passerbys not to go to that restaurant. It's rough. Hoping I feel better soon and can try to rehydrate. It happened on 7/25 after dinner the night before . Avoid seafood tacos., | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting, Chills, Nausea, Dehydration, Stomach Pain
