Tomatillo Salsa Illness Suspected - La Sabrosita, Chula Vista California

I ate at La Sabrosita and noticed the tomatillo salsa tasted sour, so I switched to the tomato-based salsa. About 30-60 minutes later, while I was next door waiting for a haircut, I felt ill and made multiple trips to the restaurant’s bathroom. I was so uncomfortable that I also used a nearby restaurant’s bathroom due to embarrassment. I returned to speak with my server, Patty, who said the manager was unavailable. She called the manager, who refused a refund because I finished the meal, despite my explanation that I felt fine during eating but got sick shortly after. Patty was defensive, insisting the salsa was fine and others had no issues. I suspect the tomatillo salsa caused my food poisoning.
