Food Safety Report - Lean Cuisine, Chermside Queensland

6 days ago reported by user-hdzhz168

Lean Cuisine, Chermside QLD, Australia

Chermside, Queensland, Australia

Had frozen Lean Cuisine Ginger Chicken With Edamame Beans & Rice Bowl 350g, Wednesday for lunch around 1pm, by 5:30pm very sick. No other food that day. Terrible onset of diarrhoea and vomiting, this combination continued until Friday, had to get anti-nausea tablets as couldn't keep any liquids down and started to dehydrate. Diarrhoea continued and it's now Saturday and still sick, no energy and in bed. Never! Touching Lean Cuisine again, in fact put me off all frozen meals. Just not worth it. I hope this ends soon.. Either from the following stores: Coles Aspley Robinson road or Aspley Hypermarket, possibly Chermside Markets Woolworths. Most likely purchased from Coles, Aspley Robinson Road or could have been Coles/Woolworths Aspley hypermarket or Woolworths Chermside Markets.

Update January 28th, 2026:
I'm just getting over this now, I had to report to the emergency department on Sunday afternoon due to not being able to keep liquids down and still being very ill. After 2litres of IV and some pain meds I could leave, that was1am. Monday (26/01), I was violently ill until 2am after trying to have basic food for dinner (plain toast/tea). So this has been the worst food poisoning ever in my life! I'm still on rest. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps
