My daughter was suffering from bouts of nausea, intense abdominal cramping/pain/spasms, vomiting, and diarrhea between October 2021- March 2022. This caused her to miss a lot of school as this required a covid test each time & rapid tests were not admissible. The first time this happened we went to the ER, they ran a bunch of tests but could find nothing wrong. Ultimately she was prescribed zofran, instructed to follow up with pediatrician, & released. We followed up with her pediatrician each time this happened, had full metabolic panel done, couldn't find anything & just had her continue with zofran for when/if she suffered another "attack". After a painfully long search for a specialist covered by our insurance provider, we were placed on a very long wait list to see a pediatric gastroenterologist. To date we have yet to be seen by this specialist, however the "attacks" ceased suddenly & entirely after she stopped eating Lucky Charms cereal, which was a regular breakfast favorite in our household. I still have 2 boxes wrapped up in a bag under my sink, once I heard about other similar cases I thought it'd be a good idea to save them.
The symptoms have stopped since we stopped the consumption of lucky charms in early April 2022. I could be mistake but I believe one of the boxes to be from Acme on clements bridge road in Runnemede & the other from Walmart on clements bridge road in Deptford. I still have the two boxes stored away at home. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Gas, Other, Cramps
