Cereal Causes Nausea, Vomiting - Lucky Charms, Florence South Carolina

3 years ago reported by user-yymd9832

Lucky Charms, Florence, SC, USA

Florence, South Carolina, United States

I've always loved lucky charms and just got in the mood and mu husband would buy me a box a week and I ate them not knowing I was going to be sick. I just figured it was a stomach bud.But once I seen this I thought maybe thus could be linked to the cereal. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting

I have been eating Lucky Charms since my childhood. The marshmallow is not Kosher but I loved them very much. I did not eat them for a few months but I ate a hot cereal which made me dizzy and sick. I got a coupon from that company to switch to another product that they sell. I'm allergic to the chemical formula of THAT cereal. I bet that's what is the problem. GM switched to a cheaper flour and everyone reacted to it. I was so sick I've never been bedridden from an Allergy. The cereal company was understanding and even sent me a follow up email. I've been Kosher and Vegetarian for 20 years. I read the ingredients but the FDA pass the chemical. I'm sorry you got sick and I hope that it's only this. So far in the history there hadn't been any type of sickness you can get from this kind of product they are safe to eat even past the expiration date. Stay well. Robin Fox
