Gluten-Free Cereal Concerns - Lucky Charms, Spokane Washington

Both my daughter and I have had problems with this. My daughter has celiac disease so the only cereal we buy is Lucky charms. We often use this as a snack food. A few weeks ago, after eating a bowl of this, I felt really sick and had vomiting. The lucky charms came back up. At the time, I blamed the problem on eating perhaps too much junk food. I’ve had some ongoing stomach issues since then. My daughter has also had a couple episodes of vomiting. This morning, after eating Lucky charms she was quite ill with nausea vomiting. We are now saving our boxes and the bags the cereal was in and we will be happy to submit it for testing. Of note, a few weeks ago when the episode happened I did wonder about the Lucky charms, but I really didn’t think anything of it. However, with the recurrent episodes in our family, we are going to heart I’m using this serial until further investigation. Thanks for allowing us to report this.
