E-Coli Suspected, Recycled Entrées - Luxury Bahia Principe Bouganville, La Romana San Pedro de Macoris
6 years ago •reported by user-djxq5283 • business
La Romana, 21000 San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic
While the food is presented beautifully the main entrees were recycled daily from previous days. The meats were tough and overcooked. I got what I believe was E-coli from something eaten in the restaurant and was sick for days - intestinal sickness and cramping. It was not a sickness with vomiting which is the common "Montezuma's Revenge" from bad water. Symptoms matched up with E-coli contamination. The restaurant squirts a disinfectant on your hands when you enter the restaurant, but if the problem is in the kitchen this won't help prevent sicknesses! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Cramps
