Mader's Restaurant, Milwaukee's oldest German restaurant, closed Thursday after a health inspection from the city. In a statement, Milwaukee Health Communications Officer Diamond Hanson said the restaurant was closed due to rodent infestation.

“The establishment has been closed due to an imminent health hazard," she said. "Operations will resume once corrections have been made and compliance is confirmed by the Health Department."
