Migraine, Nausea After Soda - Majestic Colonial Resort, Punta Cana La Altagracia

I woke up at 4 AM with a severe migraine headache. I do not get migraine headaches. I hasd this headache the whole day, along with dry heaves, I couldn't keep water down. I eventually went to the onsite medical clinic. The nurse on duty checked my Blood pressure which was 180 over 130. She gave me an IV along with anti nausea medication. Because of my symptoms, and health history, I was sent by ambulance to Centro Medico Punta Cana emergency room. I was seen by a doctor, she didn't speak English, so there was an issue with being able to communicate my symptoms, and medical history. I had an EKG done, which was negative, so aside from that, I was discharged and we returned to the hotel. I am unsure what caused this episode. I didn't eat a lot the night before, I didn't drink any alcohol, although I did have a bottle of soda from the mini bar. I was really scared, this episode was a eye opener about traveling outside of the Us. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Migraine, Headache
