Hotel Meal Leads Illness - Majestic Hotel, Miami Beach Florida

My sister and I vacation in May 2014. Our very first night there we ate in their Italian restaurant and ate a chicken dish on the menu No , we did not finish the meal because it wasn’t that good And it appeared to be freezer burned. Shortly after leaving the restaurant we begin to experience stomach issues and return to our room for some Rolaids We never left the room spent the night vomiting diarrhea fever and chills I sort of recovered within 24 to 36 hours but my sister ended up in the doctors office at the hotel and needed IV fluids She spent the rest of the four day vacation in the room and I only hoped that she was able to get on the plane to get the hell out of there The hotel personnel were not accommodating and told us we drink too many piña colada’s which we hadn’t even had one of yet. Only thing we drink that day at the hotel was their welcome drink and a glass of wine and bottled water at dinner. Needless to say I will never return there and highly recommend to friends that they not go near that place!! Worst vacation ever. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Chills
