McMurphy's Irish Pub in northeast Bakersfield has been closed after receiving a 63 percent score on a recent inspection by Kern County Public Health. Inspectors reported black mold in the ice machine, grease build up on the grill, live roaches, and rodent droppings in the food service area.
Among additional violations, a three-compartment sink is needed to be installed which is required by all food facilities. The sports bar is closed until further notice.
