Food Safety Report: McDonald's.
13 years ago •reported by user-fwzw4697
It's hard to find chicken, fish or meat in the Indian state of Gujarat as most of the people who live there are Swaminarayan Hindus who follow their swami's and Gandhi's teachings of leading an ascetic, meat-free life. But I managed to find a McDonalds in Ahmedabad and it sold chicken burgers. I bought and ate a McChicken. It had probably been lying around for hours as hardly anyone there buys meat, poultry or fish. I was heading for the airport to fly back to London. A couple of hours later I started vomiting and this carried on several times at the airport and on the plane. Luckily, as I was flying with Qatar Airways, there was a stopover in Doha to transfer onto the London-bound flight. I was admitted to the airport clinic where I was given two packs of intravenous rehydration. I don't know what I would have done if it had been a direct flight as I felt and looked like death warmed up. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting
