Fries Cause Pet Illness - McDonald's, Atlanta Georgia

9 years ago reported by user-kvck1649 business

McDonald's Metropolitan Pkwy Atlanta Georgia. United States

Atlanta, 30303 Georgia, United States

I ate at the above location in the early morning hours of March 17, 2017. I and my dog went through the the, very busy, drive-thru. I ordered the 1/4 lb w/ cheese (no onions) combo and a cheese burger with nothing else on it for my dog.
I also shared my fries with my dog.
Flash forward a couple hours, I started feeling nauseous with stomach cramps and now, followed with diarrhea. My dog also became sick, vomiting a clear white foamy mucus and dry heaving. It's about 6:00pm on 03/17/2017, I'm actually starting to feel a little better. I still have occasional cramping and trips to the bathroom and it looks like my dog will be ok.
The one thing that might be worth looking at would be the fries. It seemed that they were mixed with under and overcooked, some were too hard to eat and some were soft and limp (greasy) . Needless to say, I gave most of them to my dog. Incase it may be of interest, my dog is a 6 year old German Shepherd and Pitt bull mix. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Cramps, Mucus in Stools
