Shamrock Shake Sickness Alert - McDonald's, East Providence Rhode Island

9 months ago reported by user-qrcx8818 business

McDonald's, Newport Avenue, East Providence, RI, USA

72 Newport Avenue, East Providence, 02916 Rhode Island, United States

Monday February 5th we got Shamrock Shakes and I was sick about 5-20min after consuming. I thought it was just me. Never had this problem with them before and we were surprised they actually had them on the menu this early but it turned out to be a literal shitshow... Really akin to a colonoscopy prep which I've had lmao and I wonder how the hell the workers were functioning that night if they were drinking these while on their shifts. Ick!!

They weren't up to par or SOMETHING because I had green diarrhea with food particles (fries?) after the first initial soiling accident that was brown. Person I live with had mushy diarrhea the next morning. It affected me quicker and I'm thinking it's because I have a history of inflammatory colon issues but we both got sick and I've never had this with a shamrock shake. It started with cramps and bloating, had an accident like 20 minutes after sipping, and I thought it was just gas while I was doing something but nope. I had to run, not walk, and it transitioned into green like I said when I ate something else a couple hours later. I was immediately sick after that. Shake and a couple fries were all I had from McDonald's but I was sick from presumably the shake before I even ate whatever else that night. Lightning fast transition time for your colon and *ss if that's what you're looking for at McD's lmao...

This place needs to get on it and start filling their fries. They also fry all their burgers in previous onion oil I've heard from numerous people and I've had the aftertaste and random pieces of onion in my QPs in the past which is not too big of a deal but is kind of f'ing annoying if you have autoimmune disease. This has always been a meh location but we go due to the closeness. Wtf is going on at this location in here on this day?? | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Cramps, Bloating, Gas
