Chicken Curry ER Visit - Muracci's Japanese Curry & Grill, San Francisco California

6 years ago reported by user-xwft5883 business

Muracci's Japanese Curry & Grill, Kearny Street, San Francisco, CA, USA

307 Kearny Street, San Francisco, 94108 California, United States

Ordered the chicken curry with rice takeout for my husband for lunch on Tuesday 4/9/19. As he ate it, he said the rice was cold and gummy and the curry was unexpectedly sweet. He couldn't finish it. 1 hour 15 minutes later he said he felt strange and dizzy. 1 hour 30 minutes later he started vomiting. He vomited a few times over the course of an hour or so and then the diarrhea started. He was sick all night and all the next day, with more incidents of diarrhea. At 1:30am on Thursday, I took him to the ER where he received fluids and anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea medicine. It is now 1pm and he is still nauseous and taking the anti-nausea meds.
I called the restaurant and reported it and they were nice about it and offered to refund, but said no one else reported getting sick from the chicken curry. I don't know if that is true but that's what they said. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness
