RANCID FISH OIL In early May I had an episode of nausea, headache and sweating that culminated in violent vomiting. I had a terrible fishy taste in my mouth that lingered and made me nauseous throughout the day. I only threw up on two or three occasions after the first time in May, but most mornings I had a period of nausea with the accompanying headach and sweating. It ruined my hopes of doing things because I was afraid of throwing up in public. I kept a food and health diary, and tried to rule out various causes. On 8/25/2025, I had more vomiting, with an overwhelming foul fishy taste. Then, a light bulb went off. I grabbed the bottle of my daily vitamins, and read the ingredients. FISH OIL. I bought the stuff on Amazon, but it was not set to expire for over a year away. The brand is Nature Made Prenatal with Folic Acid and DHA. I am not pregnant, but pre-natal vitamins have always been good for my skin, nails and hair.. It was from Amazon. #Amazon #supplement #fish #food poisoning.
