Cheesesteak Causes Family Illness - Nifty Fifty's (Folsom), Folsom Pennsylvania

6 months ago reported by user-kgwmr337 business

Nifty Fifty's (Folsom), MacDade Boulevard, Folsom, PA, USA

1900 MacDade Boulevard, Folsom, 19033 Pennsylvania, United States

My family of four chose Nifty Fifty’s to have dinner on 7/20/2026. We arrived between 7 and 7:30pm. The restaurant was at capacity with a wait time to be seated of about 10 to 15 minutes. We were seated and I ordered a cheesesteak and my wife had a chicken cutlet sandwich. My daughter had chicken and waffles and my son had two cheese burgers. My steak arrived and it appeared very dry. Since I was really hungry, I went ahead and ate it. My wife told me several times that it was really dry looking and unusual for cheesesteak. She said it appears to have been sitting. I had already drowned the cheesesteak with ketchup before she could take a picture, but she did take a picture of her chicken cutlet sandwich that had quality issues as well. I am attaching a picture of her sandwich as proof of our patronage at Nifty Fifty’s. I have never experienced poisoning from Nifty Fifty’s and such poor food quality at the same time. Even my daughter’s chicken was slightly undercook and she couldn’t finish it. I called out of work this morning 7/21/2026 to recover. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Headache
