My husband had eaten fish on the second evening of our vacation. It started during the night. He vomited massively all night with diarrhea and an elevated temperature. He also had massive stomach cramps. Everyone in the hotel says they had the same thing. But what that is ultimately due to, I have no idea. For most, it was apparently the fish.
