Filet Mignon Food Poisoning - Omaha Steak, New York

12-6-23, Omaha filet mignon I ordered a big expensive pkg from Omaha Steaks for a Xmas gift for my daughter and one for my son. She got food poisoning (Nausea, chills, hot & cold, diarrhea) from the filet mignon. Now I’m afraid for her & my son to eat anything from those packages. They’ll probably throw them away. It cost me almost $300! Some nice Xmas gifts!

Update 08/09: Last Xmas, I had Omaha Steaks send a gift pkg to my daughter and she got really sick after eating a filet.
I contacted the company & they were so nice! They refunded the entire cost of the gift package.
I ordered from their info on Google. It was probably their main distribution center and not local. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Chills
