Inspectors found several significant food safety violations during the inspection, and citations were issued. Handwashing sinks in the home production area and rear washroom had hot water that was too hot, above the allowed maximum. The high-temperature dish machine was not sanitizing properly because the final rinse temperature was too low, and it was tagged to be held for inspection until reinspected by the Chicago Department of Health.

Inspectors also found an overflowing outdoor recycling dumpster with a loose lid and liquid food waste spilled on the ground near the outside trash compactor. Other issues included leaking plumbing at sinks, openings in the dishwashing area floor, and previously cited violations that had not been corrected, including gaps around doors that could allow pests to enter and missing waste bins at handwashing sinks.
