Ham & Swiss Soufflé Sickness - Panera Bread, Boston Massachusetts

7 years ago reported by user-ptwwr696 business

Panera Bread, Allstate Road, Dorchester, MA, USA

8 Allstate Road, Boston, 02125 Massachusetts, United States

I purchased a Ham & Swiss Souffle, and approximately one hour later I started experiencing discomfort and nausea. I tried to walk it off, but that didn't work. I went to the restroom and had a bowel movement (did not smell healthy) I thought that would resolve the issue. About 10 minutes later I had to rush back to the restroom, I was in work, and vomited twice. Rinsed my mouth and went back to work. Approximately, 15 minutes later rushed back to the restroom and vomited more, lots more. Requested a ride home and continued vomiting till approximately 4:00 a.m. the next day.
I couldn't keep anything down, water, ginger ale, Gatorade, frozen pop. The only thing that didn't make me vomit was ice chips. Unfortunately, they made the stomach cramps worse, but since I was experiencing dehydration at that point (headache, not producing urine, the veins in my hands all but disappeared) I continued with the ice chips.
This started Thurs. 8/30/18 today is Sun. 9/2/18 and I'm still working to re-hydrate. It's taking longer than I would have expected.
I called Panera to let them know because I'm a regular customer there and never had a problem before, but I thought it should be reported elsewhere too. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Headache, Cramps
