On 2/22/18, my wife and I ordered food from Panera in the shopping center at Atlantic Blvd and Southside Blvd in Jax, FL. She didn’t get food poisoning, but I got it from either the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt or the Southwest Chicken Salad. I felt the chills the next day at work and a little nausea. See More that it was probably just the grease needing to be changed I decided to eat because I was really hungry the food tasted good but about 5 to 10 minutes after finishing my food I started to get a pressure pain on my stomach. After that I went to walk it off thinking everything would be fine in a few minutes but I was wrong. About half way to lane I felt my stomach drop and I started getting dizzy and vomiting, I pushed threw just telling myself I just needed to use the restroom and boy was I currect. As soon as I made it to circle k I went to the bathroom and got to a toilet and it was very unpleasant. The affected cantaloupe products were distributed from October 19th through October 20th, 2023, and were sold in the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin at convenience stores, delis, and business cafes. To date, there have been no illnesses reported related to products distributed by Bix Produce.
-Consumers, restaurants, retailers, and wholesalers should not eat, sell, or serve recalled cantaloupe or recalled products containing cantaloupe.
