Breakfast Illness: Pancakes, Eggs - Perkins Restaurant, Erie Pennsylvania

I got breakfast with my friend this morning and she had to use the bathroom while we were still there eating.. She said she thought it was the apple juice she had but she continued to have an upset stomach after and after an hour of us leaving I did too. It started with bad gas and cramping and slight nausea. After I went home I got diarrhea. She came over again later and said her stomach still was hurting and I told her about my issues too. After she left again for the night I had a severe urge to throw up and sat by the toilet for 10 minutes till the feeling went away, although I never did throw up. Ive been desling with severe cramps, nausea, gas, and diarrhea for the last 4 hours, and we got the food 10 hours ago. We both got almost the same order. She got pancakes and so did I. She got scrambled eggs and I got sunny side up.. she got tater tots and I got hashbrowns.. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Cramps, Gas

Perkins has become severely understaffed ever since the pandemic. Although this aspect is not their fault, a severe shortage of staff often results in rushing orders and a lack of quality control. My hubby got sick here before, too. We used to love Perkins, but these days we're too afraid to go. It's sad. 😔
