Philippine Airlines, flight PR 592 and PR 402, March 9, 2026.On March 9, 2026, my wife and I traveled on two Philippine Airlines flights: PR 592 from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Manila (MNL), and PR 402 from Manila (MNL) to Seoul Incheon (ICN). Meals were served on both flights and we ate on both. On the second flight PR 402, a salad was served that had a strong sour, spoiled odor — multiple passengers in the cabin visibly refused to eat it. I had the chicken hot meal, my wife had the fish hot meal. Late that evening after arriving in Seoul, both of us became severely ill. My wife developed a fever of 39.6°C with chills, violent vomiting, and diarrhea that lasted two consecutive days. She could not sleep or eat. I had vomiting and diarrhea without fever. We were both bedridden for several days and unable to seek medical help immediately as we had just arrived in a foreign country with no local contacts. On March 14, we visited Catholic University of Korea Hospital in Seoul where we were both diagnosed with enterocolitis (ICD A099). The doctor confirmed in our medical certificates that symptoms began after boarding Philippine Airlines on March 9. We were prescribed antibiotics (Ciprofloxacin) and a 5-day treatment course. As of March 14, my wife still cannot eat normally and remains weak. We have filed formal complaints with Philippine Airlines (Reference 033*****) and the Philippine Civil Aeronautics Board. If anyone from flights PR 592 or PR 402 on March 9, 2026 experienced similar symptoms, please reach out. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Chills, Headache, Weakness
