Additional information: My niece got the pineapple in Hawaii on a visit to a pineapple plantation. She brought it to a family gathering where my sister made it into a pineapple and cream spread for me since I couldn’t eat the other food. I was sick as a dog before the meal was over with GI issues. Some of the pineapple in the spread was sweet but some of it was very bitter. Pineapple was obtained in Hawaii. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Cramps, Gas
