Not how that works homie. Food poisoning and other food borne illnesses take 24-48 hours to become symptomatic. You got sick from something else, not pizza hut

You can have food poisoning symptoms hit you as soon as 30 minutes dude. It truly depends on what's already in your stomach, what your immune system is like and the bacteria/virus you ingested. For example, it can actually take up to 3 weeks for Listeria or Salmonella to take effect. It can take 30 minutes for Staph to take effect. E. Coli, Clostridium, Norovirus (which is the 12-48 hr one you're probably referring to), Campylobactor, etc. All have different incubation periods and when/how they affect you. So, it does sound like this person got sick from pizza hut if it hit him 6 hours later.

Food poisoning and vomitting can happen as soon as 30 minutes, however diarrhea takes a minimum of 24 hours to form.

Hello! Thank you for your comment. The onset of diarrhea can vary depending on the cause of the illness. While some foodborne illnesses may take longer to develop, others can cause diarrhea within several hours. Because incubation periods differ between pathogens and individual circumstances, it's not possible to apply a single timeframe to every case or determine the source based on timing alone.
