Chicken Tenders Cause Sickness - Popeyes, Mentor Ohio

11 months ago reported by user-tvth9293 business

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken, Mentor Ave, Mentor, OH, USA

7635 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, 44060 Ohio, United States

I ordered a three piece chicken tender around 6-7 pm on a Monday night. This was my first time trying them so I’m not sure if they tasted differently but I didn’t enjoy the meal at all. I fell asleep around 10 pm. Around 12 am, I woke up with nausea and threw up the chicken tenders. I had lots of stomach pain, which is weird because I never have stomach issues and cannot recall the last time I threw up. Later in the day, I was at work and only had saltines and water with electrolytes. Around 12-1 pm, I started feeling queasy but just wanted to make it through the day. At 3 pm, I rushed to the bathroom and threw up water. I left to go home and took a shower. In the shower, I threw up again. This time, more solid pieces of the chicken and chicken batter came up. It was so disgusting. I have never thrown up more in my life. I felt somewhat better but still decided to take the next day off. Wednesday morning, I went diarrhea 6 times. I continued to only eat saltines for solids and chicken broth. I did not throw up or use the bathroom for the remainder of the day but experienced stomach pains and cramps. Now it is Thursday and I’m still at home. I’m careful with what I am eating until I feel 100% better but I will never eat from Popeyes again. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Stomach Pain
